Concierge-Level Transition Support for Aging Adults
New Chapters & Everyday Comfort
Nest & Anchor is your local partner for senior move management, transition services, room styling, and concierge support in Austin, DFW, Houston and San Antonio. We help families and senior communities create beautiful, comfortable spaces for aging adults with dignity and ease.
At Nest & Anchor, we provide concierge level transition support for aging adults and the families who love them.
This season of life often comes with significant decisions. Downsizing, moving to a new community, or adjusting a home to better support daily living can feel emotional, overwhelming, and logistically heavy. Our role is to step in, take the lead, and bring calm to the process.
We manage the details of transition with care and clarity, helping families navigate what stays, what goes, and how a new space comes together in a way that feels familiar, comfortable, and dignified. From planning and coordination to move in and final setup, we make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Design is part of what we do, but support is the heart of our work. Every decision is guided by comfort, function, and ease, always honoring the individual story behind the transition.
Our clients often tell us they finally felt like someone had it handled. That is our goal, so you can focus on being present rather than managing logistics.
At Nest & Anchor, we believe peace of mind is not a luxury. It is essential. And it is something every family deserves during this season.

We serve aging adults and the families who support them through seasons of change.
Some of our clients are entering a new chapter and need help navigating the logistics and emotions that come with transition. Others are settled in a senior living community or long loved home and want their space to better support comfort, function, and daily life at this stage.
Many of our clients work directly with us. Others are supported by adult children who are coordinating care and logistics from a distance. In every case, we step in with calm, capable guidance and a deeply personalized approach.
Our work is about more than how a space looks. It is about creating ease, familiarity, and a sense of belonging. From helping a new environment feel safe and welcoming to making thoughtful improvements that enhance everyday living, Nest & Anchor brings clarity, care, and intention to each transition.
Many work directly with us. Others are supported by adult children managing logistics from afar. Whatever the circumstance, we step in with calm, capable guidance and a deeply personalized touch.
From creating emotional ease in a new environment to enhancing daily life through thoughtful details, Nest & Anchor brings beauty, clarity, and purpose to every space.

Our name is rooted in faith and guided by hope.
“He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge.” Psalm 91:4
“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” Hebrews 6:19
These verses reflect the heart behind our work: offering refuge, reassurance, and steady support during one of life’s most meaningful seasons.

Nest & Anchor provides concierge level transition support for aging adults and their families during times of change.
We help manage the emotional and logistical details of downsizing, moving, and settling into a new home or community. Our role is to guide the process from planning through completion, offering steady leadership, clear communication, and hands on coordination.
This can include helping decide what moves forward, coordinating with movers and other professionals, overseeing move day, and preparing the new space so it feels familiar, functional, and comfortable from the start.
Design plays a supportive role when needed, but our primary focus is care, clarity, and ease. Think of us as a trusted guide who helps carry the weight of transition so families do not have to manage it alone.
Think of us as part personal concierge, part trusted advocate, part spacial designer, making every detail feel intentional, and every decision a little easier.

-
Start with open conversations to understand preferences, timing, and what feels most important. From there, working with a senior move specialist helps bring structure and calm to the process.
Nest & Anchor coordinates downsizing decisions, packing and move logistics, and the final setup of the new space. We handle each step with care and clarity so families can move forward with confidence.

We support a wide range of transitions, including moves to and from senior living communities, assisted living, and memory care. We also help with downsizing from larger homes or moving in with family.
Every transition is different, and our services are tailored to the specific needs, timing, and circumstances of each client.

Yes. We coordinate with trusted, senior friendly moving companies and oversee logistics to ensure the process runs smoothly. Families do not need to worry about sourcing or managing movers. We handle that as part of the transition.

Yes. While many clients choose full transition support, we also offer assistance with specific parts of the process, such as downsizing guidance, move coordination, or home setup.
We begin by understanding where support is most needed and tailor our involvement accordingly, always with the goal of making the transition easier and less overwhelming.
-
The timeline depends on the size of the space and the level of support needed. In many cases, the initial setup is completed within one to two days following the move, with additional time scheduled if needed for finishing touches or adjustments.
Our goal is to ensure the home feels comfortable, functional, and ready for daily living as quickly as possible, without rushing what matters.
-
Absolutely. Some clients prefer to be closely involved in planning and decisions, while others appreciate a more turnkey experience.
We work thoughtfully with both aging adults and their families, adjusting our approach based on comfort level and preference. Your involvement is always welcome and never required.

Yes. Furniture and décor purchasing is available as part of our concierge support when it serves the needs of the transition.
We source items through trusted vendors and designer trade accounts, and we manage ordering, delivery coordination, and in home setup to ensure everything arrives smoothly and is ready for use.

We offer support across three core areas of transition. Clients may engage us for one area or for support throughout the entire process.
Downsizing Support
We guide thoughtful decisions around what to bring, store, donate, or pass along. This includes hands on sorting, space planning for the new home, and coordination with family members as needed.
Moving Coordination
We manage the logistics of the move itself, including timelines, coordination with senior friendly movers, and oversight on move day to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Home Setup and Design Support
We prepare the new space so it feels comfortable, functional, and familiar. This can include furniture placement, sourcing and purchasing items when needed, and setting up the home for daily living.
-
Yes. We have experience supporting transitions into memory care environments and understand the unique considerations involved.

We also coordinate closely with facility staff to ensure all guidelines, policies, and safety standards are followed.
-
Yes. Our services can be gifted, often by adult children or family members who want to provide meaningful support during a transition.
We begin with a consultation to understand the recipient’s needs and preferences, and we coordinate thoughtfully with all involved to ensure the support feels helpful, respectful, and appropriate. Gifted services are structured clearly so expectations, scope, and communication are aligned from the start.
This kind of gift is often less about a task and more about peace of mind, for both the recipient and their family.
-
The best place to start is with a conversation. We begin with a consultation to understand your situation, timeline, and where support would be most helpful.
From there, we outline next steps and tailor our involvement based on your needs. Whether you are planning ahead or navigating a transition already in progress, we are here to guide the process with care and clarity.
-
Every transition begins with a conversation.
We offer an initial discovery call to briefly understand your situation and determine whether our services are a good fit. This call is complimentary and designed to help you take the next step with clarity.
For families seeking guidance beyond that first conversation, we offer a paid consultation.
Consultation
Our consultation is a dedicated planning session focused on understanding your needs, timeline, and priorities. During this time, we provide thoughtful guidance around downsizing, moving, and home setup, and help identify potential challenges before they arise.
Following the consultation, we outline recommended next steps and explain how we can support the process moving forward.
This is not a sales call. It is a professional planning session intended to bring clarity, direction, and peace of mind.
Consultation fees may be credited toward future services if you choose to move forward with Nest & Anchor.
If you’re ready to begin, we’re honored to walk with you.
I didn’t create Nest & Anchor because I’ve already walked this path—I created it because I’m walking it now. Several of our own family members are in seasons of transition, and like so many others, we’re learning what it means to honor their stories while helping them live these days with comfort, dignity, and joy.
Many older adults are navigating these changes independently. Others are supported by loved ones—often from a distance. And I know firsthand how reassuring it is to trust that someone is showing up with care, presence, and intention.
I believe growing older should be met with more than just safety. It should be met with beauty, belonging, and strength.
Nest & Anchor is my way of helping families create spaces that say:
You are still home. You are still deeply loved.
Thank you for trusting us with something so meaningful.
This isn’t just a service—it’s a calling.
