Senior Home Transitions. Handled.
Concierge relocation planning and home adaptation throughout Austin and Dallas.
Nest & Anchor was created to provide structured, high touch support during life’s most complex home transitions.
We work with aging adults and their families to lead relocation, downsizing, and home adaptation with clarity and precision. From strategic planning to full installation oversight, every detail is managed intentionally and discreetly.
Transitions later in life are both practical and emotional. Our role is to remove the logistical burden so families can remain present and focused on what matters most.
We believe aging should be met with dignity, thoughtful design, and steady leadership. Every project is guided by comfort, function, and respect for the individual story behind the transition.

We serve aging adults and the families supporting them through significant home transitions.
Some clients are preparing for relocation and need structured coordination during a complex season. Others are settled in a senior living community or long loved home and seek thoughtful modifications that enhance comfort, safety, and daily function.
Many of our clients work directly with us. Others are adult children coordinating care and logistics from a distance. In every case, we provide calm, capable leadership and a tailored approach designed around the individual’s needs.
Our work extends beyond aesthetics. It is about creating ease, familiarity, and functional support at this stage of life. Whether guiding a full relocation or refining an existing home, Nest & Anchor brings clarity and intention to every transition.
-
Nest represents a soft, welcoming place to land. It speaks to familiarity, comfort, and the feeling of being truly at home, even in seasons of change.
Anchor represents strength and steady support. It reflects the emotional and practical guidance needed during transitions, offering stability when life feels uncertain.
Together, Nest & Anchor embodies our approach to caring for aging adults and their families. We provide both gentleness and structure, warmth and dependability. A place to land, and something steady to hold onto.
Our name is rooted in faith and guided by hope.
“He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge.” Psalm 91:4
“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” Hebrews 6:19
These verses reflect the heart behind our work: offering refuge, reassurance, and steady support during one of life’s most meaningful seasons.

We lead with structure and care, guiding aging adults and their families through transition with clarity and steadiness. Every project centers on comfort, function, and daily livability, ensuring each space supports real life while still feeling familiar and personal.
Design serves a practical purpose. It is used intentionally to enhance safety, dignity, and long term ease. From layout decisions to final details, every element is selected with intention.
Our goal is straightforward: to create spaces that feel settled, supportive, and ready to live in from day one.

Yes. Nest & Anchor is dedicated exclusively to serving aging adults and the families who support them.
Whether a client is managing their own transition or is supported by loved ones, our focus remains the same: to provide steady guidance, thoughtful care, and a sense of ease during this stage of life.
We work with individuals across a range of needs, from active independence to memory care. Our approach prioritizes comfort, dignity, and respect for each person’s story, ensuring every transition is handled with care and intention.
-
The process begins with clarity — understanding timing, level of care, space size, and what belongings meaningfully move forward.
From there, structured planning is essential.
Nest & Anchor leads the entire transition. We provide detailed space planning for the new residence, guide keep and release decisions, coordinate movers and vendors, oversee move day, and manage full installation so the new space feels complete from day one.
If updates are required prior to move in, we also coordinate home preparation and light renovation to ensure safety and comfort.
Our role is to remove uncertainty and take ownership of the logistics, allowing families to focus on their loved one rather than the details.
-
Yes, but we do not simply provide labor.
We lead the process from strategic sorting and downsizing through coordinated packing, move day oversight, and full installation. Every item that moves forward is intentionally planned within the new space before the first box is packed.
On arrival, we manage complete setup. Furnishings are placed, beds are made, artwork is installed, and kitchens are organized so the home feels settled and fully prepared from day one.
If needed, we also coordinate light renovations or safety updates prior to move in.
Our role is not just to move belongings. It is to ensure the transition is structured, intentional, and professionally executed.

Nest and Anchor provides concierge transition and home adaptation services throughout Austin and Dallas.
We focus our work within these two markets to ensure hands on leadership, trusted vendor relationships, and consistent oversight from planning through final installation.
For select larger engagements, we may accommodate projects outside these areas on a case by case basis. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
-
We support transitions into assisted living, memory care, independent living, and senior communities, as well as downsizing from larger homes or relocating to live closer to family.
For clients remaining in their current residence, we also provide planning and oversight for aging in place modifications that enhance safety, accessibility, and daily comfort.
Each engagement is tailored to the individual. Our role is to assess the level of coordination required and lead the process with structure, clarity, and professional oversight from start to finish.
-
Yes. We coordinate with trusted, senior friendly moving companies and oversee logistics to ensure the process runs smoothly. Families do not need to worry about sourcing or managing movers. We handle that as part of the transition.
-
Yes. While many clients choose full transition support, we also offer assistance with specific parts of the process, such as downsizing guidance, move coordination, or home setup.
We begin by understanding where support is most needed and tailor our involvement accordingly, always with the goal of making the transition easier and less overwhelming.
-
The timeline depends on the size of the space and the level of support needed. In many cases, the initial setup is completed within one to two days following the move, with additional time scheduled if needed for finishing touches or adjustments.
Our goal is to ensure the home feels comfortable, functional, and ready for daily living as quickly as possible, without rushing what matters.
-
Absolutely. Some clients prefer to be closely involved in planning and decisions, while others appreciate a more turnkey experience.
We work thoughtfully with both aging adults and their families, adjusting our approach based on comfort level and preference. Your involvement is always welcome and never required.
-
Yes. Furniture and décor purchasing is available as part of our concierge support when it serves the needs of the transition.
We source items through trusted vendors and designer trade accounts, and we manage ordering, delivery coordination, and in home setup to ensure everything arrives smoothly and is ready for use.
A standard 20 percent procurement fee applies to cover sourcing, coordination, and handling. This allows clients and families to enjoy a thoughtfully prepared space without the stress of managing purchases and logistics themselves.
-
We offer support across three core areas of transition. Clients may engage us for one area or for support throughout the entire process.
Downsizing Support
We guide thoughtful decisions around what to bring, store, donate, or pass along. This includes hands on sorting, space planning for the new home, and coordination with family members as needed.
Moving Coordination
We manage the logistics of the move itself, including timelines, coordination with senior friendly movers, and oversight on move day to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Home Setup and Design Support
We prepare the new space so it feels comfortable, functional, and familiar. This can include furniture placement, sourcing and purchasing items when needed, and setting up the home for daily living.
-
Yes. We have experience supporting transitions into memory care environments and understand the unique considerations involved.
We focus on creating spaces that feel familiar, calm, and supportive, using clear layouts, meaningful personal items, appropriate lighting, and an approach that prioritizes safety and comfort. We also coordinate closely with facility staff to ensure all guidelines, policies, and safety standards are followed.
-
Yes. Our services can be gifted, often by adult children or family members who want to provide meaningful support during a transition.
We begin with a consultation to understand the recipient’s needs and preferences, and we coordinate thoughtfully with all involved to ensure the support feels helpful, respectful, and appropriate. Gifted services are structured clearly so expectations, scope, and communication are aligned from the start.
This kind of gift is often less about a task and more about peace of mind, for both the recipient and their family.
-
The best place to start is with a conversation. We begin with a consultation to understand your situation, timeline, and where support would be most helpful.
From there, we outline next steps and tailor our involvement based on your needs. Whether you are planning ahead or navigating a transition already in progress, we are here to guide the process with care and clarity.
-
Every engagement begins with a brief introductory call to determine alignment and timing.
For families seeking professional guidance, we offer a private consultation. This is a structured planning session focused on understanding your situation, evaluating relocation or aging in place options, and outlining the level of coordination required.
During this session, we assess logistics, space considerations, timeline, and potential challenges. You leave with clear direction, recommended next steps, and an estimated investment range if we move forward together.
This is not a sales call. It is a professional strategy session designed to bring clarity to complex decisions.
Consultation fees may be credited toward future services should you choose to engage Nest and Anchor.
If you’re ready to begin, we’re honored to walk with you.
I did not create Nest and Anchor because I had mastered this season. I created it because I am walking it alongside my own family.
Several of our loved ones are navigating transition. Like many families, we are learning how to honor long histories while supporting comfort, dignity, and strength in the present.
I understand firsthand the reassurance that comes from knowing someone capable is guiding the process with steadiness and care.
Growing older deserves more than safety. It deserves belonging, beauty, and thoughtful support.
Nest and Anchor exists to provide that structure. To bring clarity to complex decisions. To create spaces that feel settled and dignified from day one.
You are still home. You are still deeply valued.
Thank you for trusting us with something meaningful.
